Here’s what actual teachers from my school have to say about it. I don’t feel comfortable putting their photos up, so I’m using TV teachers instead (Bonus points if you recognise them all).

norburyMy students really get in Kahoot and enjoy the real time competitiveness. I have created Kahoots as revision or just to consolidate classwork. I have had students create their own and use the best ones with the class. Sometimes I even use the public Kahoots from the kahoot library.

A fun revision tool to use at the end of a lesson. I always put two answer choices in that are very close so the students are forced to really think about how it’s different and why. It’s terrific that you can tailor the Kahoot to your particular class and add in extra questions if you think they’re struggling with a concept. “Making Learning Awesome” as the Kahoot peeps say…

snapeI get asked at least once a week “Sir, Can we do a Kahoot?” That says a lot about how much my students enjoy it. After each question Kahoot summarises how many students answered right, which allow me to stop and clarify when needed. The students are happy to do the same quiz again and again, which I find useful during revision time.

Watch the video below for everything you need to know about getting started with Kahoot. Three minutes and you’ll be up and running.
