BREAKING NEWS:

This post, and others like it, became so popular that I made a whole new website!!

http://mathsvideosaustralia.com/

At this website, you’ll find over 350 videos mapped to the senior Mathematics Curriculum of various states of Australia. I put quite a bit of work into making it user-friendly for teachers, parents and students to find the video they need. Best of all, it’s 100% free. Please click the link and check it out.

ORIGINAL BLOG POST BELOW.

What a busy twelve months it’s been! The new senior syllabus has dropped in Queensland, which means every senior teacher in the state has been wrestling with the new content, new assessment and how to teach it.

Of course, for me this means making a whole bunch of new videos for my blended learning classroom. Now that the dust is settling, I’ve put my videos into playlists, tidied them up a bit and now I can share them here.

So, feel free to bookmark this blog post. If you find yourself unexpectedly sick one day and you need to teach a new concept from unit 1, just email your class a link to the right video and away you go.

If you are thinking of experimenting with flipped or blended learning next year, this might give you a bit of help.

There’s 80 videos here in total, so you’ll probably find what you’re looking for here somewhere.

Sometime in the near future I’ll post up Unit 2 and 3 but hopefully some people will find this useful for now.
